Power Monitor
Power Monitor is an accesory that plugs in the 4 pin expansion port of GliderKeeper series Altimeters. GliderKeeper V2, GliderKeeper Pico or the first generation GliderKeeper. By connecting to your battery output leads it will measure model´s power consumption.
How it works?
Power Monitor is a shunt resistor based power monitor that simultaneously measures both Battery Voltage and Current delivered by the Battery and sends to GliderKeeper CPU taht will record those values together with Altitude then by making the appropriate integration, calculates Cumulative Energy Delivered. Once reached the Limit of 350 W-min the competition firmware will shut the motor.

Transparent Usage
Positive and negative battery leads is provided for you to match your model´s connection. Connect to the appropriate side of your models power output.
Bring the four pin expansion bus into the altimeter or the extensio hub, as shown in the picture

Install the Fw and UI (very Important)
We have 3 new Fw released.
The official FAI approved Fw for using in F3G official competitions "F3G" Fw.
The training Fw similar to the official formula one but with emergency motor enabled "SPG_5" Fw.
The sport or general purpose Fw used for flying any model but with power characterisation. No Motor shut by the Altimeter, the "SPT" Fw.
Update byou altimeter UI as well to
GKx_UI_x.31.bin for having acces to the new power sytem plots and for letting to load these las two Fw names


Use with Magnetic Reset Switch
Install the new Magnetic reset switch (sold separately) into the large altimeter´s expansion port. By approaching the supplied peg to the sensor head (a reed switch) to generata a fast reset of the altimeter.
This reset Switch will only be functional with F3G or F5L Fw´s ( equal or later version x.31)
NOTE: Magnetic Reset Switch cannot be connected to Initial version of GliderKeeper as it has not a 8 pin expansion pin.
