We very much welcome FAI are taking a step forward with anti- cheating requirements for Homologated Fw´s.
This can only go in the direction of more transparent and out of polemic rewarding contests.
Here you can find what is new in this new suite of Fw´s called "2606 pack". It includes apart of the homologated Fw´s the other specialities which have being brought onto the same line.
All fws are now x.32 no matter what formula.
We also want to welcome our eF3K (USA) users by including a F5K variety with antizoom gain calculation.
Note the changelog of our update:
2026 May 17

Changes to x32 Firmware Pack
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
FAI Requirement:
1.- Altimeter will give 900 microseconds pulse signal any time the input throttle signal is below OFF value (1200 microsecs)
2.- Altimeter will not give signal above OFF value until a input signal below OFF value (1200microseconds) has been validated.
NOTE: For compatibility these two requiremments are now ported to all of our Fw´s x.32
*******************************************************************************************************************************
****** WARNING: This change may need recalibration of your ESC and/or reconfiguration of your Throttle mixes in your transmitter
****** SAFETY FIRST: Carefully check results of this Fw change in your model´s behaviour
****** We recommend to do a trial test in ground in free space or with propeller removed

3.- UI must be updated to align Throttle_in and Throttle_out signals in plots
4.- UI now compatible with F3G records in plots, It now shows Motor time by default
5.- UI only lets the user change values of those setting that the Fw´s formula allow (i.e. change things only in STD Fw)
6.- Improved altitude records in initial seconds (it showed sometimes field elevation)
7.- Stability improvement for PICO in AP mode: less oveheating
(We still recommend heat dissipation and/or reduce voltage to 5.0. volts for AP Mode)
8.- More easy to open session (an indication appears in the message, Android users)
9.- STA mode Allows for a Wi-Fi password of 8 characters (largely desired...)
10.- Reset via Magnetic reset switch in only F3G and F5L
11.- "Weird PICO display" bug eliminated, only a few cases.
12.- Better behaviour for GliderKeeper AppWe, from now onwards, do recommend to use GliderKeeperApp as the main interface for our devices, you should have noticed this App has already stored these new object files in your mobile, and will take care in which platform you are expecting to update, in the picture I was using a Pico. Note the Info bullet to the right to show the characteristics of each specific Fw.
